How to Build Links to Your Website - Link Building Strategies 2020

How to build links to your website?

Today I decided to write another word about Link Building Strategies in 2020 for blogs, although in reality these techniques can be used for any type of site or at least most of them are applicable. I decided to write on this topic because, I found that a lot of people are still wondering how to make a good Link Building Strategies, despite the great lectures of the lecturers.

I would be very happy if what I write in this post can help at least 1 person to understand in practice how things happen in Link Building and more precisely in Link Building Strategies for blogs.

Link Building Strategies
Link Building Strategies

What is link building and why does it matter?

The advice I intend to give in this post is not only in theory, but I have tried them and they have worked for me and I already have several successful blogs with regular visitors who found me through Google and thought my blog was worth reading.

It will sound a bit praiseworthy, but more than once my readers have written to thank me for the useful information that I have presented to them in the form of an article. I hope you are not bored already and that you want to read the lines below.

What are link building strategies?

In general, when building a good Link Building, the standard methods are used, as for any site, but here I will mention some factors that I think are much more applicable to blogs:

  • Links from Article Directories;
  • Links from Site Directories;
  • Links from social and bookmarking networks;
  • Links from thematic satellite sites;
  • Links to comments in blogs;
  • Blog links.

As you can see, there is really not much difference in Link Building strategies with a normal site and a blog site. What sets this article apart from the rest of the Internet on Link Building is actually the explanation and a few small tips for greater success that I will tell you.

To make everything more systematic and easy to review, I will divide the different methods into subsections.

Links from Article Directories

Article directories have become quite popular for about a year now, as a pretty good method of getting free links with a lot of weight, but unfortunately few people understand how to use them so that it has a really good effect.

Most people think that the content they will publish in these article directories is not so important, as long as they get a link from there. Alas, this is not true. As a friend of mine used to say, ” To receive – give! “

These sites most often want you to publish an article, allowing you to put a certain number of links (usually to your sites), thus you get unique visits from people who came across the article, as well as the weight of the link to your site. However, in order for the effect to be greater, you must follow a few important rules:

  • Always publish a unique article written specifically for the Article Directory in question in which you have decided to publish an article;
  • It is advisable to put a few links as possible in the post. Personally, I recommend that you do not put more than 2-3 links ;
  • It is desirable that the articles be thematic. That is if you plan to put a link to a site for hosting, write an article on WordPress Hosting ;
  • Always link to the desired site with Anchor text (the keyword by which you optimize your site). That is if we take the above example. I wrote on the topic of Best Web Hosting, and my site is https://www.brbteach.com/, the end result should be this-> Best Web Hosting ;
  • Write articles of at least 200 words.

As my own experience, I often come across people who make the following unwanted mistakes that most often provoke me to disapprove of articles (as do many other colleagues):

  • Copied thematic articles are used;
  • More connections are allowed than allowed;
  • The terms of use are not read.

Of course, the last point most often happens, which leads to a violation of the first 2 points, but really what is the point of writing an article and wasting your time if it will not be approved and you will not get a link. Alas, more and more colleagues who have Article Directories are complaining about this.

Links from site directories

Another option to get links to your blogs is through site directories. Of course, they also have some subtleties that one needs to know in order to have a greater effect than adding your blog to them:

  • It will have a greater effect on your site if the link provided in the site directory is Dofollow. Those with the nofollow rel tag will only bring you traffic;
  • The title is recommended to be the keyword you are optimizing for or at least the keyword to be present;
  • The title and description should be different for each site directory. They may recur, but make sure it’s not too frequent. For example, if you add your site to 10 site directories, the repetition should be a maximum of 2-3 times and still avoid it.

Links from social and bookmark networks

Although most social networks do not offer a direct dofollow link, sometimes posting links to your articles there brings you a lot of decent traffic and regular readers of your blog.

Posting links to your sites should be moderate, and I plan to give you more details on the subject in another post, because the matter is really quite large in volume, and this article has become really big, even before we have passed half a point.

As I mentioned on social networks, you probably won’t find ones that give you dofollow links, but on the other hand, there are a lot of bookmark networks that do. So look primarily for bookmark networks that provide you with dofollow links and post links to large social networks.

Here again, it is desirable to pay attention to the title and description. It will guarantee you more visits and regular readers. How to write stunning headlines that will attract more readers, I will show you in a separate article soon.

Links from thematic satellite sites

This is the resource I like the most as a method of providing links for a number of reasons, but here are the main ones:

  • You get another thematic site;
  • Stronger links to your site.

With so many free blogging platforms, you don’t need to buy hosting and domains separately, but if you do, it will have an even greater effect.

This option, among other things, gives you the opportunity to attract more visitors/customers and therefore the opportunity to build a unique network of strong sites with which to ensure good thematic links.

Here’s what would help you for stronger links from these sites:

  • Each satellite site should be on a different blog platform with a different IP address;
  • Each site should be optimized for a different keyword and finally, visitors should be directed to your main site, which will bring you good targeted traffic;
  • Opportunity to get thematic links from colleagues, by the method – I link your site from My site 1, you give a link to My site 2. I will write more about this method in a separate topic.

Links from comments in blogs

Another of my favorite link building strategies or methods, but more care is required here so as not to tarnish the reputation of your sites and not be declared a spammer. This method is best when you are trying to optimize a personal blog with a keyword, your name.

The reason is that a very large number of blogs with do-follow comments allow you to sign your comment with just a name or nickname.

However, there are blogs in which the authors do not mind signing up with a keyword.

Important tips to help you avoid being labeled a spammer:

  • Don’t sign with a keyword unless allowed by the blog owner;
  • Always write meaningful comments with your opinion on the topic discussed in the blog;
  • If you are signing with a keyword, look for a topic that is, if not directly, then at least indirectly related to the keyword. This way you will get a stronger link with a thematic comment, and your comment will not be deleted or marked as spam;
  • A good trick is to provoke a discussion on the topic, but be careful not to provoke a stronger debate. The idea here is for more people to write thematic comments, expressing their point of view on the issue. Very good method to please you as a commentator. The reason is that there are still few blogs in Bulgaria with an increased presence of commentators and every blog owner is happy when his topic is commented on;
  • It’s nice to have dofollow comments, but it’s still good for about 20% of the blogs you comment on to be nofollow. The idea here is to trick the Google bot into not commenting just because of the link.

Blog links

Increasingly, bloggers have started arguing about “Is the blogroll link strong?” My view on the matter is that there is a force like any other do-follow link with the difference that it is indexed a little slower than the links in the articles.

The reason for this is that the gods of search engines in most cases follow new content using your RSS and Sitemap and when there is a new topic visit the address of the topic itself. This happens in the order of a few minutes, while crawling the main part of the site is done for a time determined by the bot itself, which takes time.

That’s why the misconception comes from that blogroll links don’t count… because it doesn’t happen right away. So if you are looking for links that you want to report as quickly as possible, use the links from articles. If there is no possibility to link from an article, then maybe from a blogroll.

Here is what is important when using this method:

  • If you have agreed to exchange links with another god, ask if it is not possible to exchange links from different blogs. For example, from your blog it gets a link to blog 1, and it from blog 2 gives you a link to your blog. The idea here is to get a link from a site to which you have not provided links. The reason is that reciprocal links are reported as weaker;
  • The higher the PR, the better for you if you have decided to fight for PR. If PR is not important to you, then it is not so important.
  • It is more than desirable that blog links are mostly from thematic blogs and a small percentage of non-thematic ones.

Here are some tips for successful Link Building on your blog. You can take a look at the ” Useful ” section, where you will find a list of article directories, site directories, social and bookmark networks, as well as other useful sites and tools for any blogger.

I really hope you found this article useful and interesting. I wish you successful link building strategies and blogging.

How to Choose Best Hosting for WordPress Website 2020

How to Choose Hosting for WordPress website

If you are just now hearing about WordPress, probably one of the questions you are asking is: How to choose the right hosting for WordPress website. Wherever you “place” it, it would feel good, but there are some things you need to know, despite the many options that the market provides.

There is no exact answer here

How to Choose Best Hosting for WordPress Website
How to Choose Best Hosting for WordPress Website

Let’s start with the fact that, as with everything else, there is no exact answer. Even if WordPress.org recommends hosting from HostGator, and says that this is the best solution on the market for your blog, it will not be 100% so.

All you need to do is sit in front of your computer for a few minutes and dig around Google to see what people use and what they write about. And you will find the solution quickly, for yourself. A solution that would rarely coincide with that of 5 other people looking for the same.

How to choose to host for WordPress website?

On the other hand, you will read posts from people who are convinced that the only way to do it as people is to choose a company that specializes in managing this system (Managed WordPress Hosting) –  Site Ground, Blue Host, Hostinger or Cloud Ways. And that’s not the best answer.

Some people trust hosting companies with cheap plans that are a good solution for beginners, but this is not the smartest answer.

Answer the following questions:

  • How much do you know?
  • What do you want to do?
  • How much do you need?
  • How much can you spend?

And once you answer, you will know that there is no universal answer. There is simply an individual solution for everyone.

First, what to consider…

Just as there is no universal answer to everything, there is one fact you need to know here. Because comparing several different hosting companies, you will find many things that make them the same and at the same time – different, but one thing is for sure:

Every hosting company has a downtime…

… And you can’t do anything about it. But the reassuring thing here is that he doesn’t feel it. If someone tells you that their site hasn’t been interrupted once in the last 5 years, they probably haven’t followed their site well enough. If your site has little traffic and you do not have a monitoring system to it, then there is no great chance to feel someone else downtime.

But no matter how you believe it, every hosting has a downtime. Absolutely everyone.

So if you’re looking for a place for your WordPress blog, rest assured that you’ll have it, albeit in minimal “doses.” So, once you know it, we can move on.

Are you a developer?

If you’re a developer, you’re probably interested in things that others don’t consider important – like DDOS protection, Varnish, how many PHP versions the system supports, RAM, CPU, cores, connectivity, disk speed, and more (all of which will find in Hostinger plans ). If this is the case, then you definitely have a different view of things from the average user and your answer will be right for you.

All hosting providers do backups regularly, something that will free you from this commitment, but we recommend that you do one local (on your computer) at least once a week or monthly (depending on your blog update). Accidents are rare, but they do happen. Keep that in mind.

But if you are not a developer – one thing is for sure, the above things do not mean anything to you, and you will probably look for your hosting for WordPress , looking through other eyes.

Choose Best Hosting for WordPress Security

Are you looking for a host for your eCommerce WordPress?

Few online store owners (excluding experienced developers) have never thought about “speeding up” their sites through some system plugins and hosting features. They think that as the site is made, so it should be – enough to go fast. In many cases, however, this is not the case and is most often seen when adding many products and modules/plugins.

WordPress-based stores have a few more elements that can give an error – payment modules, delivery settings, product page layout, and more. And as a store owner, you know very well that every single problem leads to two unpleasant facts – loss of order and customer dissatisfaction. Something that, if continued, can get you out of business very quickly.

Therefore, our recommendation here is one – choose a hosting service that can provide the resources, location, and capabilities needed for an online store to operate smoothly.

When choosing, see if the service offers process speed, reliability and most of all supports the system on which you have built your online store (in our case – most often WordPress WooCommerce). Often the problems come when the store starts to get bigger and more functional. To avoid this, think preventively!

Are you a popular author or blogger?

Here our question is to those with over a few thousand visits a day. Each of you would like to pay a reasonable price for reliable hosting. No one would risk a low plan that they bought at a symbolic price.

Choose the plan according to the size of your site and the traffic it generates. Leave an advance. Once you’re a popular blogger who has a steady and loyal audience, you shouldn’t disappoint them in any way, especially with a slow loading site or mistakes when opening it.

And with so much traffic, it is assumed that some other level on top of the plan will not seriously affect your budget, but will definitely guarantee you more stability and speed in the web space.

Do you want someone else to take care of things for you?

You can use the services of hosting companies that specialize in just that. Their main activity is the management of your WordPress site or blog. Their services are an idea more expensive, but in many respects, this is justified.

If you think your time is too valuable and you can afford to transfer control to someone else, then you can find such options at Site Ground, Blue Host, Hostinger or Cloud Ways, and similar companies. You pay more and you get more.

In other cases, any other large, and not so large hosting, would cope with the task of providing you with a place for your site, and its management will be entirely your job. The time you take to take care of your blog yourself is sometimes not such a bad thing option.

In this way, you will know its condition, what it needs, and most of all how to optimize it to its current condition and resources. The saying here, “Why is the wolf’s neck thick?” Applies in full force. The more control you have over your site, the more secure you will feel.

Will you collaborate with anyone else?

Big projects require a big team. You know that. Here, when choosing a hosting service, it is good to know if the company has the ability to provide the protection needed to develop the project successfully.

Why do we emphasize protection? Because the big team is made up of people who constantly come in, work, and make changes. Our practice shows that the more people operate on a web project, the greater the risk of unwanted hacker attacks, errors, and/or intrusion. It is not common or mandatory, but it is practically and theoretically possible.

For this, we recommend hosting with good protection, fast loading, frequent backups, and experienced support. Anyone who has been involved in large projects will want these basic things to be up to standard, and then put the price as the next criteria. The right choice is the optimal ratio of all this.

So… .how to choose Hosting for WordPress?

We started with the fact that there is no universal answer. This is so and at the same time, it is not. On a larger scale, there is no right answer, but for you, personally – there is definitely only one. It all depends on what you do or intend to do. It depends on how much you are willing to pay.

But in the end, you will find that the perfect Hosting for WordPress which is the one that has been in front of your eyes all along.

Don’t think of a hosting company as a company that sells you something – we’re talking about a partnership. By choosing a hosting for WordPress, you choose a long-term partner who will be by your side at any time during your development. You will need them, and they will be there, ready to help you.

Your success is directly related to them. There are many companies on the Internet from which you can buy hosting services, but always think about what was written a while ago. Reliability, security, and professionalism. We wish you success in finding, I hope we have guided you in the right direction of decision-making.

Which is Best WordPress Hosting Services in 2020?

As the most powerful website platform on the planet, WordPress has allowed millions of ordinary people to create amazing websites with zero codings required. If you’re looking to get started, you’ll need a Web Host in order to install WordPress, and in this article, I’ll reveal the top three best WordPress Hosting Services for small e-commerce business.

Top 3 Best WordPress Hosting Services Providers in 2020

After hands-on testing and comparison, we’ve determined that these three popular web hosts are perfect for beginners looking to get started with WordPress in a matter of minutes.
So today, we have a special comparison article where we’ll be recommending our top three picks for the best WordPress Hosting Services to web hosts for WordPress beginners. For those new to WordPress or unfamiliar with web hosting, we’re going to briefly explain what a web host does and why you need one.

Does WordPress have a Powerful Content Management system?

So by now, you probably heard that WordPress is a powerful content management system used by top bloggers and big websites alike, such as brbteach.com. So how do you get started? Well, before you needed three things to get a WordPress website up and running, and these three things were, one, a domain name such as brbteach.com, two, a web host which allows you to install WordPress and store your information live on the internet by renting you space on their web servers, and three, a manual installation of the WordPress platform, downloaded from WordPress.org.
Best WordPress Hosting Services
Before, you had to get all three of these things and connect them all together manually, which can be a headache for most people with no web developing experience.
Today, when you sign up for any of these recommended web hosts, you get all three bundled together with no hassle or fuss. So which three web hosts do we recommend, you ask. Before we rank them individually,

With each of these web hosts, we were able to sign up and build a WordPress website from scratch in just minutes. At this moment, we would also like to give an honorable mention to Hostinger
, which is another WordPress-recommended web host.

Compare Performance of Web Hosting

Now we’re going to compare performance by running a website site speed test to see who’s the fastest on the basic shared server plan. The way we conducted this test is by using a tool by the company Pingdom, which performs a website speed test based on performance, optimization, and load times.
Each website used the exact same theme, header image, and then one blog post with a single image. Also, we added the same caching plug-in to each website to max outperformance.
Here are the results. Each host scored the same performance grade of an 88, which means that our websites are highly optimized by using the same theme and caching plug-in.
Now the difference is in load times, especially when compared to all other sites tested. Comping in third, the HostGator site loaded up in 1.9 seconds, which is faster than 74% of tested sites. That’s a pretty solid performance for a basic shared server plan.
In second, we have Bluehost which loaded significantly faster than HostGator with a load time of just 1.11 seconds. This load time was quick enough to be considered faster than 88% of tested sites.
What surprised me the most was SiteGround’s performance since SiteGround is a much smaller company than the giants Bluehost and HostGator. The SiteGround site loaded up in under a second, at a blazing 769 milliseconds, which is faster than a whopping 93% of tested sites.

Compare the price of WordPress Hosting sites

Next, we’re going to compare pricing, both normal and on sale, to see which web host is actually the most expensive, whether on sale or during regular pricing.
All plans we are looking at will be the most basic shared server plan, which is more than enough for beginners and comes to WordPress-ready.
HostGator :
best cheap web hosting
After applying discounts, the current sale plan pricing starts as low as $3.95 for a three year plan, and $5.95 for a one year plan. So less than $6 a month is very fair for what you get. One last note about HostGator is they do not offer a free domain upon registration. So that adds an extra $12.95 to your total costs.

Best WordPress Hosting Services
Regular pricing without discount starts at $7.99 per month, about a dollar cheaper than HostGator. After applying discounts, the current sale pricing matches up with HostGator, starting at $3.95 for a three-year plan, and $5.95 for a one year plan.

The difference is that Bluehost includes your domain name free of charge with your sign-up, about a $12 value.
Best WordPress Hosting Services

For our best performer SiteGround, regular pricing without discount starts at $9.94 per month, which is the most expensive out of the three, but you also get the fastest performance.
After applying discounts, the current sale pricing drops by a whopping 60% to only $3.95 per month, and this $3.95 rate applies to one-year plans as well.
On top of all that, you also get a free domain name, just like Bluehost. After reviewing the pricing and performance.
Once again, make sure to visit the Resource Page below to access the lowest prices and best discounts available, updated daily on our site.
Now, it’s time to finally rank our top three web hosts individually, by discussing the benefits of each while factoring in the performance scores and pricing we just went over.

Here is the details of Best WordPress Hosting Services

best cheap web hosting

So coming in at third place is HostGator, which came in last in performance but ended up with the highest cost after discounts. It’s important to remember that the HostGator site still loaded faster than 74% of tested sites, which is not slow by any means.
This may seem like a disappointing finish, but remember, we’re looking at the top three web hosts for WordPress overall, so HostGator is still a better choice than the hundreds of web hosts out there.
The benefits of HostGator include award-winning tech support and server reliability with a 99.9% uptime guarantee. This basically means that over the course of one year, your website may only be down for less than nine hours total out of that entire year.
This is a major key for a lot of people and one of the reasons why HostGator is up here with the best.

WordPress 1-click install, this is one of the most important features for WordPress beginners, as it allows you to install the WordPress platform onto your domain just minutes after signing up.
If you’re a beginner, this is a must-have feature as it saves you the headache of having to install WordPress yourself. Best of all, HostGator features a generous 45-day money-back guarantee, longer than either Bluehost or SiteGround.
best cheap web hosting

Coming in at number two is the ever-popular bluehost. Along with HostGator, bluehost is one of the most recognizable household names in the Best WordPress Hosting Services and web hosting market.
Chances are that the popular blog you like runs on either of these web hosts. Bluehost continues to grow year after year and is a fan favorite for newbie bloggers. Here are some of the benefits for beginners looking to use Bluehost.
You’ll receive your domain name completely free of charge for the first year, unlike HostGator who charges $12.95. Bluehost is the first recommended web host by the official WordPress website. It’s also the most popular choice for WordPress users, powering over two million websites.

It includes WordPress 1-click install, and you get a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you think Bluehost is the right web host for you, make sure to watch our step-by-step video on how we created this exact website just minutes after signing up with Bluehost.

Coming in at number one is the underdog, SiteGround. What’s not to love about SiteGround? They are a much smaller company than either Bluehost or HostGator, but they scored the fastest performance scores and lowest pricing after discounts.
No doubt, the value here is exceptional. Now, SiteGround may not be as much of a household name as the other two, but it is one of the most popular web hosts for WordPress users specifically and is also an official recommended web host on the WordPress website.

In recent years, SiteGround has rapidly gained a huge and loyal following through their top-notch customer service, not to mention fantastic performance and reliability for the money. Here are some of the benefits for beginners looking to use SiteGround.
An official WordPress-recommended web host. You get your domain name completely free of charge when signing up, just like Bluehost. WordPress 1-click install, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
So that wraps up our top three best cheap WordPress hosting recommendations for WordPress web hosting for beginners. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with either of these top three picks.
